My hometown, Memphis, is going through a major transformation. Hopefully, COVID is on its way out the door. Although it seems to be saying a “Southern Goodbye.” You know the kind, where you say goodbye 20 different times but still have more to talk about and can’t quite get through the door. I thought it…

Tell me about your history with RVC Outdoor Destinations.
I am the Social Media Manager for RVC Outdoor Destinations and am based out of our support center in Memphis, Tennessee. Being able to work with all of RVC Outdoor Destinations Resorts has been a blessing and has introduced me to an entirely new way of life, the RV lifestyle.
What what do you hope to accomplish with this Blog?
My Grandfather worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and from a very young age, he instilled upon me a curiosity for exploring small towns and other virtually unappreciated areas. It was nothing for him to say, let’s go take a drive and see what we can see. It is my goal to share my travels and to make recommendations on things to see, places to stay, and restaurants to enjoy. I want to inspire my followers to explore the backroads that we tend to miss by taking the expressway. I hope to honor my grandfather’s memory by continuing our nomadic traditions with Discovering Roadtrips. Let’s go for an adventure!
“A successful life is not something you simply pursue; it is something that you create, moment by moment. Make the impossible possible and enjoy the experience.”

Roadtripping with a DVT
This past year really has been a doozie for me. Not only with COVID-19, quarantines, and the travel restrictions that came along with that. In late April, I also found myself in a leg cast with some pretty serious complications (a DVT)! I still have a long way to go before I am “healed” but…

While there are many qualities of a good leader, the three biggest are sincere passion and enthusiasm, integrity, and loyalty. People can recognize insincerity from a mile away, so don’t even go there. Give proper…
